Unlike a standard comic strip the promotion is written as a choose your own adventure style interactive comic. Instead of reading through the comic from front to back readers must make decisions and skip forward and backwards to individual panels depending on the choices made.
The creation of the comic was made to promote The Legend of Zelda franchise in Europe. It was included in the UK based publication of NMS shortly after the release of The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening for the Game Boy which launched in December 1993.
